May 2019 started with 3 days in Georgia. I wanted to pack light (on Spirit and a tight budget, both fun and a necessity)! I knew that a light pack would allow me to embrace any adventure, from an impromptu road trip to miles of walking. I decided to bring only my 11 liter day pack! Here it is all packed up:

Below is what I brought and what I would leave behind next time:
*Note: I have no sponsorships and purchased the items below. I recommend purchasing items used when possible. Links to new items are provided - I do not benefit from any clicks or purchases. I bought most of these items second hand and recommend you do too! I will include a post on my favorite sources later :)

Trip in numbers: 150 driving miles, 6 MARTA/train rides, 3 different lodging situations, 2 delayed flights, 2 cities, 1 borrowed car, 1 concert in a synagogue, 1 human rights music festival, and many miles of walking. I was glad to have a light and tiny bag!
Here are the items I did not use that I could have left at home to pack even lighter: 1 pen, 2 tea bags, most of my keys, headphones, Smartwool leggings, shorts, 1 pair socks, and my rain jacket. I could also have switched the thermos for a water bladder/platypus.
